Only one, simple thing on my mind today and it’s this:
God shows up. He really does. Just when I think I’m at the end of my rope or at the point where I’m going to have to muster up some of my own resources to fix a problem or mend my own heart…He shows up.
He comes in with the neighbor who brings the most lovely dinners at the most random moments.
He comes in with my son, who says something funny and perfect and reminds me that I am loved.
He comes in the hugs of friends.
He comes in the wise, gentle words of Steve.
He comes in the worship in my car, “We will go from strength to strength, til we see You face to face…”
He comes in envelopes in the mail and on my desk (magical envelopes, I tell you).
He comes.
He shows up.
And He brings laughter with Him.
Oh my isn’t it just Amazing when He comes in just the little things.. but so Amazing that we can acknowledge Him in all that He does in our lives.. Oh He is so Amazing!!! and i am continually reminded !!

He’s been showing up like this intensly over the past three years of refining fire on behalf of the Wolfe family…proving that He is in the fire with us. Where can we go from His presence? He. Is. With. Us.

I believe it! I was praying for you today that you would FEEL Jesus showing up in some of the ways that you mentioned. Our God is so good and detailed. Praying for more pockets of peace where you sense His Presence in intricate and mysteriously beautiful ways. I love you.
