Dear Bo,

Simmer down!  You’re going to get through the list.  You will.  You’ll get the clothes packed and the kids settled.  The bills will get paid and the cameras charged.  Yes, many things need doing.  But this is the storm before the calm.  The labor before the birth.  And you are qualified to get ‘er done.  Not excited about it, but qualified.

The details scream for attention, but the dream waits quietly on the other side.  Don’t let the details steal the dream.  You’ll be glad when you look back and realize you lived the process with grace.  Grace.  It’s a lovely word, but an even lovelier resource.  Don’t forget to take it with you into this day.  Grace for your family, your world and yourself.  Everyone needs it.

Ready?  Set.  Roll.

Your dream is waiting.

Live it well.

With grace,

Your Future Self

P.S.  Also?  You’re having a grandson!  What else really matters?

Steve and I went on a Mediterranean cruise in June, I’m so excited for you! Tips: good walking shoes and a really big appetite! Also, we didn’t know this until part way through the cruise, but gratuity is already included in all drinks AND room service is totally free – 24 hours! Sooo thrilled for all of you, and Rome was made for you my friend, wish I could see your face when you see all it’s wonderful-ness. 🙂 Much love!
